METAIRIE, LA – St. Tammany Sheriff Randy Smith announced today that he will seek re-election to continue to protect and serve Louisiana’s fourth most populous parish.
Said Smith, “I am very proud of our work over the past six and half years to protect our people and property. Morale is at an all-time high because our deputies are well-equipped, paid fairly, and they have been immensely successful in keeping our community safe. There’s no doubt that we have raised the standards of professionalism. But we have done so by supporting the men and women who work tirelessly to ensure the public’s safety and ensuring they have the tools and training they need to fight crime today. I am honored to protect this community and stand strong with this crime-fighting force that has made St. Tammany safe.”
Last year, the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office fielded over 8,400 dispatch calls. The agency achieved impressive results when it came to solving crimes. In 2022, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office had a 100% clearance rate for the parish’s eight homicides. The Sheriff’s department scored a 92% solve rate on violent crimes which is more than 100% better than the national average. And, regarding property crimes, the Sheriff’s Office clearance rate in 2022 was over three times the national average. Said Smith, “Our message to criminals is strong. If you commit a crime here, we will bring you to justice.”
In his last term, Smith continued to bring upgrades to the department including outfitting all deputies with body cameras to ensure transparency and accountability. Under the Sheriff, deputies are trained on how to manage mental health calls, an escalating challenge for all police departments. To ensure retention and to acquire the top recruits, Smith invested in his personnel with improved wages and benefits. The sheriff sent a strong message in his fight against crime when adding a strategically located new police district to improve response time for 100,000 residents. Sheriff Smith relocated the 3rd District Station to Highway 59 near Interstate 12 across from Fontainebleau Junior High and High School to better protect the public, and he brought the large-scale project in under budget.
The St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office under Smith continues to provide resource officers to 27 public schools to further protect our children and give parents peace of mind. Technology is upgraded regularly to guarantee that officers have the best crime fighting equipment in their fight against crime. And the Sheriff has invested in a new mobile command center and a state-of-the-art drone unit to allow the department’s crimefighters to manage any crisis from the scene.
Said Smith, “We’ve enjoyed success in protecting our parish, but will never rest on our laurels. We will continue to stay up to date with the latest and most reliable crime-fighting equipment and training. I will also work to heighten our presence across this expansive parish. I plan on building a new Fourth District station in Bush which will remove deputies from the current trailer they operate from within. I will also seek federal funding to build a state-of-the-art training facility at the Brownswitch location in Slidell. This alone will help us attract and retain the best of the best in law enforcement.” Sheriff Randy Smith is a 36-year veteran of policing. He was first elected Sheriff of St. Tammany Parish in 2016 and was re-elected in 2019. Prior to that, he led the Slidell Police Department as Chief of the Police for six years. Smith is a Republican.

Classes also inherit slots from their superclasses, but the mechanism is slightly different.
Common Lisp also supports multiple inheritance–a class can have
multiple direct superclasses, inheriting applicable methods and slot specifiers from all of them.
However, it’s important to be aware when using multiple inheritance that two
unrelated slots that happen to have the same name can be merged into a single slot in the new class.
The advantage of using auxiliary methods is that it makes it quite clear which
methods are primarily responsible for implementing the generic function and which ones are only contributing
additional bits of functionality. 4The argument to MAKE-INSTANCE can actually be either the name
of the class or a class object returned by the function CLASS-OF
or FIND-CLASS. What’s the model number or name of my

Hi just wanted to give you a quick heads up and
let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both
show the same results.
Hi to every body, it’s my first go to see of this website; this website contains awesome
and genuinely good stuff in support of readers.
However, :class slots are accessed the same as :
instance slots–they’re accessed with SLOT-VALUE or an accessor function, which means you can access the slot
value only through an instance of the class even though it isn’t
actually stored in the instance. The choice of whether to use WITH-SLOTS versus WITH-ACCESSORS is the same as
the choice between SLOT-VALUE and an accessor function: low-level code that provides the basic functionality of a class may use SLOT-VALUE or WITH-SLOTS to directly manipulate slots
in ways not supported by accessor functions or to explicitly avoid the effects of auxiliary methods that
may have been defined on the accessor functions.
In conclusion, finding the best flight packages to Las Vegas doesn’t have to
be a daunting task. These packages typically include both your flights and accommodation, providing convenience and
potential savings. When it comes to accuracy and reliability, GPS systems have a
clear advantage over traditional maps. Over the years of touring with the band, drummer, percussionist
and back-up vocalist Ryan Dusick had been suffering from the touring

Nice post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am impressed!
Very useful info specifically the last part 🙂 I care for such info much.
I was looking for this particular information for a very long time.
Thank you and best of luck.
Thank you for the good writeup. It in fact was a amusement account it.

Whether you’re looking for fine dining experiences or casual bites, Bellagio has plenty of culinary gems that
are sure to please even the most discerning palates. For Italian fare,
head over to Lago by Julian Serrano where you can enjoy small plates like crispy artichokes or spaghetti carbonara while
overlooking the famous Bellagio fountains. Another advantage to using accessor functions
rather than direct access to slots via SLOT-VALUE is that they let you limit the ways outside code can modify a slot.8
It may be fine for users of the bank-account class to get the current balance, but you may want all modifications to the balance to
go through other functions you’ll provide, such as
deposit and withdraw. To ensure you get the best deal on your flight package to Las Vegas,
there are a few tips you should keep in mind. Sometimes adjusting your travel plans by
a few days can result in significant savings on flight hotel
packages. To find the perfect Las Vegas flight hotel package, it’s
essential to do thorough research. Find hotels in Niagara Falls,

But that’s a fairly dramatic change that could affect other methods and inherited slots.
Multiple inheritance doesn’t dramatically change any of the mechanisms of inheritance I’ve discussed so far–every user-defined class already
has multiple superclasses since they all extend STANDARD-OBJECT, which extends T, and so have at least two superclasses.
Multiple inheritance is easiest to understand when the different superclasses provide completely independent slots
and behaviors. I’ll discuss in the section “Multiple Inheritance” what it means to list more than one direct
superclass in direct-superclass-names. However, it’s possible that
more than one class in the inheritance hierarchy of a given class will specify a slot with a particular
name. In most cases retail boards from Foxconn have a motherboard name (e.g.
P35AX-S) which can be found between the slots or in the near of them.
